I was gifted a 4k monitor by my dad for helping me wirh my vision issues and my Lalafell truly has received the glow up of all time compared to the laptop she was born on.

Okay yeah unless the email is stuck in the void I lost the lottery. Not a total loss since I saw an urgent email entirely because I was baby sitting the inbox all day...better luck in general sales I guess

No lotto email yet but until the account announces they're all sent I'm not losing hope.

I already have a flight and hotel booked cause I wanted to get that done before people got their tickets to get better rates and availability...ill just refund the hotel and change the flight to visit my brother if im unlucky

My potential budget for if I get to go to Fanfest is ballooning to the point im gonna ask my parents "hey im totally fine with no physical presents this Christmas if that money is instead used to help me survive in California for two days"

For all the aggravation the "multiplayer" part of this game causes me, moments like this make me glad its not a single player RPG.

I just had my neighbor in FF14 be like "omg I'm so glad to see you I was hoping you still played cause I hadn't seen you in awhile" and I realized they actually noticed the month long absence I had in the game and I just...man my actual neighbor wouldn't notice if I was gone that long...

Had to stop what I was doing getting my Halloween mounts for the lizards last minute to make this

Just got denied for egg donation because of "genetic and social history and FDA guidelines"

Also because of said post surgery depression I have no idea what's going on with the terms of service stuff or whatever I guess I missed some stuff hte past few days

Really wish someone had told me about how common depressive episodes are after surgery...this last week has been miserable.

I hate that inbetween stage after surgery where you're healed enough people expect you to do things again, but you're still dealing with chronic pain and general bodily weirdness...can I please just skip to the part where I'm all better.

Currently waiting to see if insurance will pay for me to get corneal cross linking to stop the deterioration but I'm not holding my breath tbh

I've always been an advocate for accessibility but having my eyesight begin failing really taught me how little it takes to be inaccessible... a few days ago I completely burnt a microwave meal to a crisp cause I read "1:30" as "4:30".

since i'm seeing a bit of a resurgence of fancy unicode fonts recently, a gentle reminder: screen readers generally cannot read anything written with fancy characters properly. please consider not using non-standard unicode characters as fonts in your posts to make them more accessible for all. ❤️

God between my time in the hospital and the fact im nervous to play live games when Im in recovery means I am so far behind on my relic weapons in FF14 compared to everyone else. Im usually the first one done among my friends but not this step ;_;
