my best friend Meraki is currently in a dire, life-or-death situation. she has been spontaneously told without prior notice that she only has until the end of the year to move out of her current shelter. she is disabled and has been in a situation like this before due to her abusive parents, but she was given a place to live by people she thought she could trust and confide in. these people have proceeded to break every promise of safety in her new "home", and at times, she was only surviving through a spoonful of peanut butter per day just to have calorie intake. despite repeated confrontations about this neglect to provide comfort, her pleas have been ignored and she is now being kicked out. she has one week to begin the process of leaving before the eviction process is started. she has no stable income, only being able to earn cash through infrequent commissions. i will put a donation link in the replies. if you know someone who can take her in for at least a little while, message me.

Twenty four years ago, the warlord 'Ymir of Jun' tried to conquer land along the western border of the realm. She was successfully repelled into exile by the Knights of Order following a series of bloody battles.

With the Old King dead, and his Knights of Order scattered, her exile is about to end.

Yvdril Deval, ex-imperial guard from beyond the Old King's Realm. Having failed to stop the assassination of her Lady, she is now forced to carry the guilt of her inaction into her wandering ways.

Never again will she let down her guard. Never again will she repeat that mistake.

Not even the dead rest quite so easy, after what happened to the Old King. Perhaps it was he alone that made the land slumber in its prosper, or even more alarming, perhaps he too is trying to claw back from the other side?

Used battle maps for a D&D game I'm currently trying to get off the ground. Trying out an isometric style inspired, largely, by games like Cult of the Lamb and Hades 2. So far it's been working out pretty well, I think!
