Hello Transport Victoria?? You know it would look better if you did it like this right??
I feel like I would have loved it, if the βtilesβ werenβt so obviously fake :(

Hello from inside π
Yeah itβs undoubtedly very different to when I was growing up - but I still think enabling queer visibility is one of the most important aspects of teens being online.
The internet that raised me was feral and deeply unhinged. But it was also the place where I figured out I was gay. The government's plan to delete that space for the next generation feels... ick.

Metro Tunnel? Football?
Together?
But how?
I have some opinions on getting to the footy post-MM1

π Gay & confused. I wrote a silly substack about how charli xcx accidentally unlocked my gay identity crisis and i think you should read it :)

Lights & decorative bright orange beams on the platform
An industrial looking light fixture
Pretty neat ayee
I was in Sydney and rode everything* - metro, light rail, ferries, even a replacement bus - hereβs my slightly chaotic, deeply opinionated transit diary π

A sattrrical version of a PTV infographic
π’ From 11:59pm tonight, all public transport services will operate on an extremely limited public holiday timetable. ππ
We understand this is inconvenient. Thank you for your patience as we continue to ignore the way people actually travel on weekends and public holidays.
π Caulfield Station is one of Melbourneβs busiest, but if you canβt use steep ramps, you canβt use this station. No lifts. No escalators. Justβ¦ this. Public transport should be accessible to everyone.

What is it? Some sort of event space?
Most I did in 1 day was 39 stations - definitely not possible to do all 222 (at least with the current timetable)
I had already been to about 90 & it took me 1 year to do the by remaining 132!
Flemington racecourse platform. Passengers disembarking a Comeng train.
A photo of me. A moustached man wearing a salmon shirt and a black cap.
A screenshot of my Excel spreadsheet that tracks all of the stations that Iβve been to.
Officially visited all 222 metro train stations - finishing off at Flemington Racecourse on this glorious Melbourne day!
π¨Unfit for the Future!π¨
With the Metro Tunnel opening this year, Caulfield will get even busier - but itβs not fully accessible & passengers must tap on/off just to change platforms!
Time to fix this before it gets worse!

A myki reader with two handwritten notes that say βtap very gentlyβ and βtap myki slowlyβ.
With the threat of debit card payments, sheβs feeling very fragile. Be gentle!
Bike hoops, except a red sculptural element makes them practically useless
No one in the street furniture industry has ever ridden a bike
Yes!
Exterior of the train, the Overland logo on the centre of the carriage
Interior of the train, seats with faded fabric & stains, carpet fraying
The Overland is very odd, I have no idea who itβs supposed to be servingβ¦
Itβs not exactly cheap, about the same $ as flying, the βred classβ isnβt particularly nice either - the car was quite worn & dirty, not exactly a luxury experience.
Wouldnβt recommend 11 hours on a trainβ¦

A radiant sunrise behind the platforms at Carnegie Station. A HCMT pulled up to the station on the right.
Think this one-ups that pretty sunrise from last week π

First time riding to work today - it was pretty good!
