Today is World Cancer Day 💛
At Rays of Sunshine, many of the families we support have been affected by cancer.
Our mission is to brighten the lives of seriously and terminally ill young people, and give them memories that shine brighter than difficult days.

After going through years of chemotherapy for her leukaemia, Isla’s wish was a much-deserved adventure.
Her mum said: “She felt special, loved and like she didn’t have a care in the world.”

For 10-year-old Isla’s wish, we organised for her and her family to visit Chester Zoo.
Isla got up close to all her favourite animals and also sampled all the yummy food. And of course, she did it all while wearing her fanciest dress! 👗
