I don't often post WsIP.. I don't know why. I guess I just like to present things when they're done. But I might post some stills soon because the video might (almost certainly will) take a little longer than I'm expecting.

I've been working on a 3D model / scene for the past couple of weeks. On the one hand I've probably put WAY too much time into it for what I'm going to use it for. On the other hand, I really love how it's looking and I'm excited to do a short little video with it.

When I lived in Norwich, I could not believe how frequently UK weather changes!

In Pennsylvania, whatever it's doing when you wake up in the morning is pretty much how it's going to be most of the day. In England the weather changes 4 times before you walk out the door. xD

I've heard that might be the case, but Apple's weather app has always been completely terrible even before the funding cuts. And other weather sites like Accuweather or weather.gov are still much more accurate than Apple even after the cuts. So.. I dunno :c

The Apple weather app must be powered by AI because it'll be like "no rain! 0% rain today, absolutely no rain all day" and you look out the window and it's raining

Well based on previous instances of that actually happening, they post a bewildered question in the comments asking what's going on.

Also I was working on the next several pages of the comic today for Patreon, and they're really fun. x) I can't wait to get these next ones done for March.

I'll be honest, I was completely blown away that it went as far as it did. I fully expected to file the report and then never hear about it again. But it got a lot of attention.

Maybe I'll tell the full story sometime. But the sort version is: mistakes were made. I wrote a report explaining said mistakes in detail and the consequences of them. It went up the chain. Meetings were held. Admiral told me things were changing so those mistakes would no longer be made.

When I was in the Navy, I wrote a report that single-handedly changed the way the Navy performed certain procedures.

I won't go into detail because it's such a specific situation that it might identify me. But I was having private meetings about it with captains and a rear admiral. (I was an E-5)

That's why I made the video! Because nobody was reading the instructions xD

Oh and the specific star types listed in order of gravity strength are still in the instructions on the Itch page. I just forgot to talk about them in the video.

Haha yeah, I thought the RC MIRV was a good idea but I realized the one-shot technique made it way OP. I tried to mitigate that a little by doing the starburst pattern, but if you aim it right you can still do it. I decided to leave that little tip out of the video x)
