Overseas NHS Workers Day Today is an opportunity to recognise the vital contribution that international health and care professionals make to the NHS. Many colleagues have travelled from their countries of origin to live and work in the UK, caring for patients while adapting to a new system and culture, often far from friends, family and established support networks. We thank them for the skill, dedication and compassion they bring to the health service.
