We're in very good company in this category, the three other games are all doing very impressive things in Pulp!

We're delighted to receive another nomination for Lolife in the #Playdate community awards, this time for Innovation in Pulp! We love developing games in Pulp and are always trying to push the engine in new and exciting ways, like with our focus in Lolife on more complex enemy behaviour #indiedev

Oh yeah of course, didn't mean to imply otherwise! Audio-only games are just interesting in and of themselves and this got me thinking about them again 😄

We did make a primarily audio-only game for Playdate in Pulp called Goodnight Universe, albeit that was intended as a sleep aid so I wouldn't want to falsely call it accessibly-designed. I do think audio-only games are an interesting space though!

Thanks! Unfortunately as a Playdate game made in Pulp we're constrained by both the physical console and the engine. If we were to release on PC it's something I'd be interested in exploring, but that's not something we're looking into right now I'm afraid!

Very cool to hear! There are a few different requirements that vary between ranks such as number of deaths, completion time and final level. At some point in the new year I plan to write up a full guide but for now rank requirements are one of the many things left for players to discover :)

Otto got an update that greatly improves the crank controls, if you haven't gone back I'd definitely recommend you give it another try!
