I'm exhausted on both the physical and soul levels lately due to work, family stuff and you know...the WORLD...but dang if this new Harry Styles album isn't making me happy dance ❤️

I lack the words to capture it, but ... it's just endlessly remarkable to me that so many people in our society have chosen trans kis -- TRANS KIDS, the smallest, least significant, most vulnerable demographic slice you could possibly pick -- as a repository for all their fears & insecurities.

You guys! I got a surprise visit from my big brother today and he's the best hugger and it made me forget how shit things are in the world for a bit. ❤️

I've never set out specifically to shoot mammals, but when I see them I try to get a shot. In honour of #WorldWildlifeDay I've collected a few of my favourites.

Cat jumped on the table, got spooked by nothing, smashed a full cup of coffee, spilling it everwhere including on me...

but I'm already in a bad mood today, so to reframe:

- he helped declutter my mug cupboard
- the air has a nice coffee aroma
- the burned skin on my arm looks pink and cheery

Thinking about how beautiful it is that we’re all out here, writing and reading and sharing each other’s stories with very little money or recognition on the line. Because that’s not the point. The point is that we keep writing these little gifts for ourselves and each other in spite of it all.

1/ The images coming out of Iran are already unbearable. Reports of an elementary school struck by missiles, killing dozens of people, with scores more killed around the country. Fear and chaos in the streets as families run through smoke and search for safety.
