Ugh, nice.

Ugh, nice.
It's like confirming the roght wing mantra, that it's the people that kill people, not the guns. Technically maybe, in reality the shape of the technology kinda predetermines the political outcomes.
I can run it, but I cannot build one. Not a chatgpt-sized. It's like saying I can run my own copy of anu other software.
Like I'm all in favour of automation of whatever menial jobs we can, but technology is not politically neutral.
Sure, some tech is more politically controllable than other (e.g. atomic bomb < llms < household cutlery), but saying that extremely expensive tech build on massive capital buildup is by definition politically neutral is not right. Especially tech so embedded with the authoritarians and far right.
Tech is not neutral though. It's kinda like saying that dropping atomic bombs all over the place would increased international cooperation in good spirits. Who benefits and who comes on top is inherently embedded in the tech, who can afford to produce and control it. That leads to political outcomes
It's literally the Armageddon problem. If you ask any astronomer, they'll tell you that nuking an asteroid is the dumbest way to avoid getting Earth whacked. You need to gently nudge it out of the way. Nuking it creates thousands of smaller asteroid obliterating thousands of cities.
I'm not melting. I'm stating obvious facts. The facts are that 2/3rds of American voters either did directly vote for Trump or ignored the election assuming that either outcome is equally good for them. Citizens of a republic have a duty to make these choices and how they make them reflects on them.
I'm sorry, but American public cannot smol bean out of this one.
American left not being antisemitic for 5 seconds challenge: impossible.
Elected with popular vite mandate *after he had already been in charge* and his stance towards Iran has never been a mystery. Americans voted for this war as much as Israelis voting for Bibi.
Yeah. Being married to an Indian-American is not stopping Vance from being a neonazi eugenicist.
Find yourself someone who looks at you like American leftists look at a random neonazi.
Hey, is that the regime accountability @ericlipton.nytimes.com promised us?
Yeah, Collins will trounce him. Unless nazi tattoos find some appreciation among the republican base.
America sounds like the most divorced country ever right now
The risks are real. If the app gets too much system access while also being not secure, it could be exploited to steal other stuff from patients' phones. Like it's most likely fine, but would I want to take such risk myself? Probably not.
Back when I litigated a decent volume of courts-martial, vast majority of cases were alcohol-enabled sex assaults, offender/victim coworkers.
Fact patterns similar, motions practice predictable.
Defense service had a nationwide βmotions bankβ & the way that worked seems instructive for Gen AI.
ChatGPT-ass plan
I swear to god, the fact that UK MPs have to deal with stuff like that will never not be insane. Like that's even below a city council level problem in any relatively normal country.
On the other hand, that's less time for them to be insanely racist, so there's that.
Polanski promised him to hypnotise his wife.
American leftists with blogs learn one thing about the world challenge: impossible.
Also she probably wouldn't let Stephen Miller feed on her blood.
Commentary: Anyone Else Have Those Weird Dreams Where Sobbing Future Generations Beg You To Change Course?
Weird, I remember specifically that Eric Lipton posted a cry post about how we shouldn't abandon NYT, because they will deliver the real regime accountability. LOL.
Weaponising preservation for social harm is something we, as professionals should be vocally oposing. Using history as a pretext to merge flats into mansions is both wrong on social effects and wrong on the merits. It preserves nothing of value, and only reduces the street to a film set decorations.
I'm a conservator. My literal job is to preserve bits of the past for future generations and this still makes my blood boil. This is the dumbest, most shallow, and most harmful version of "preservation" one can have.
American left not beating the antisemitism allegations today.
JFC, this couldn't be more antisemitic even if you tried. Wtaf.
- Now, now, you're brothers. Go hug each other and stop this nonsense.
- Ugh, fine, mom.
