Just finished reading Split Scream:: Cursed Places, an upcoming release from @tenebrouspress.bsky.social 🖤 I enjoyed both novelettes immensely! @sonorataylor.bsky.social and @matthewtpritt.bsky.social novelettes are so eerily dreadful but also very beautiful.
@matthewtpritt.bsky.social has a novelette in this collection that put my jaw on the floor.
He writes subtle, elegant stories filled with pathos and a deep undercurrent of dread.

I really like working in a bakery. I've learned a lot of stuff to make my home baking better, I genuinely like my coworkers, I enjoy making food and feeding people, and I always come home smelling very nice.

I'm composing sheet music for the first time in many years. It's what my college degree is in, and I've let myself get very rusty, but it's also fun to relearn it. I probably won't do it again for a while after this project, but it's still cool to brush up on that skill.
