1. Brookfield execs were there around the same time.
2. Brookfield or Cameco announce a major new deal after.
3. There are stories from a year or so ago about Brookfield or Cameco seeking big investments there.

I don't think Carney is doing a Brookfield and Friends Profit World Trade Tour to enrich himself. I think it's just all he knows how to do, and he probably truly believes enough in trickle-down economics that making oil companies, Cameco, Brookfield, and others even richer will help Canadians.
