What to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon...a cuppa and the latest episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy 🖖☕️
Just about to watch the final EVER episode of #StrangerThings. Can't believe it's been just over 9 years since I first started watching this epic series! See you on the other side.
Morning all. Hope you're all well. My doctor has said I need to lose weight as I have a syrinx (fluid filled cavity) in my spinal cord from surgery on my back about 15 years ago and being overweight can exacerbate symptoms. So, with the help of my wife, I've started couch to 5k. Day 2 - wish me luck
Anyone else getting creepy Kane vibes from Henry Creel/Vecna in #StrangerThings?
One of my favourite Yes, Minister / Yes, Prime Minister scenes. Always makes me chuckle 😂 youtube.com/shorts/5CRSb...
I really hope this is true! #Mindhunter www.forbes.com/sites/paulta...
Andor was exceptional! It got me thinking...is Luthen Rael's actions for the rebellion justified? He essentially kills Tay Kolma and murders Lonni Jung. Does it make him as bad as those he fights against or is it a necessary evil to restore peace, freedom and justice?
Watching a film from my childhood (Kindergarten Cop) and who should show up but everyone's favourite Admiral, Katrina Cornwell aka Jayne Brook.
Really enjoying S2 of Andor. That scene of Mon Mothma dancing at the wedding dealing with her pain was so powerful. Genevieve O'Reilly's performance is exceptional. Also the music is superb!
Calling all my friends, followers & fellow trekkies. I could use your help with my fundraiser. My sister & nieces are really struggling financially at the moment and could use any and all help. Please share, support, or donate – every small action counts. gofund.me/7d566817. Thank you so much!
Just finished the second season of 'The Diplomat'. Absolutely loving it. Having Allison Janney join the cast for season 2 was a superb move. Janney aside it definitely reminds me of the quality of acting and writing we saw with the West Wing. Can't wait for season 3!

Thoughtful christmas present from my sister-in-law
Finished work for the year and the kids are at school so I've got the house to myself! Time to watch season 5 of Lower Decks!
We reviewed #GalaxyQuest for its 25th anniversary. Did the script hold up or did we have to do some last moment overdubs? #Apple and #Spotify links below.

One of mine too! Superb performances all round. It has it all - humour, drama, warmth & heartache. Such a great film.
Post a gif of a movie you could watch over and over and over… I too will add variety and not use a Star Trek one.
Images from episodes of Star Trek featuring a myriad of "Top 5 Five-Minute Characters" (including a Flaxian assassin from DS9's "Improbable Cause" in the top row center, Amarie the piano player from "Unification II" second row center, and Peter Preston from "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" and Commander Sonak from "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" in bottom row center). As always, remember that the episodes reflected in the collage here include some choices that were featured in this episode of TrekRanks, some choices that were maybe mentioned in our "Secondary Systems" portion of the show, and some choices that weren't mentioned at all.
NEW! It’s a topic you're only going to hear on TrekRanks! We are breaking down the “Top 5 Five-Minute Characters” – a celebration of your favorites who appeared in maybe only 1 or 2 scenes for no more than five minutes. This one is a classic. Who's on your list?

Hope you and the family are well.
I've just started it. Really enjoying it so far. Hope you're well
What is your most meaningful #StarTrek moment?
(3/3)
"Now I don't pretend to tell you how to find happiness and love when every day is just a struggle to survive, but I do insist that you do survive because the days and the years ahead are worth living for"
Meaningful to me because it symbolises the hope that Star Trek represents.
(2/3)
I couldn't choose between two...
"Be well, Miles" - meaningful to me as I've felt at my lowest and thought about suicide in the past but I sought help and got through it. This always reminds me of that point and reminds me no matter how bad things are there is always hope.
