Powered by Native Voters, Ranked-Choice Voting and Open Primaries Survive in Alaska A ballot measure to repeal Alaska’s new election system trails by 664 votes, with the state’s predominantly Native regions delivering large margins against it.

NEW: With ranked-choice voting surviving by just 0.2% in Alaska, a big factor was the mobilization of Native organizers to save the system.

The 'no' to repealing RCV won by very large margins in the majority- or plurality-Native areas.
