If we reduce the oil consumption too far the oil companies will have to find some other wasteful product for us to demand which uses their product. They cannot simply fade away.

Acknowledging the mistake and exploring actual, equitable solutions like protected bike infrastructure would address the root cause of this sidewalk symptom.

The best way for my councillor @chrismoise.ca to discourage folks riding a bike or scooter from doing so on our sidewalks is to do more to install an expansive and well-connected bike network throughout our ward and beyond.
