Is that the original pistol or has a little work gone into it? I don't remember it being such a clean finish.

That's a good observation. And I think there's a material difference between painting for tabletop use and painting for internet aura. Colour theory is great for aura when you've got a zoom lens and good lighting. But when it's just differentiating between recon and light armour...
That's it! EMP Games! They should both be from them. Thank you.
A couple of 6mm sci-fi tanks from... I'm not 100% sure where. I think they might be OOP.
Also painting some fantasy today, in the form of Dungeons & Dragons. This is an undead halfling ranger from Midlam Miniatures and an intimidating bookshelf of unknown provenance.
Two finished genestealers from the 3rd edition #spacehulk game by @gamesworkshop.bsky.social - I'm going for a #bodyhorror theme to emphasise more their status as corrupted humans than their alien-ness, which feels more horrifying to me.
Well, at least it's a Marine.
model of a giant owl in flight.
three giant weasels.
These new releases seem strangely relevant to the beginnings of the RPG hobby in the UK, but I can't put my finger on why...

Who thinks they know what this might be?
Whilst BLKOUT is undeniably great, did you knows that there's another sci-fi skirmish game with mechs and mech pilots that you can also play solo? www.wargamevault.com/en/product/3...
Mine will be the Epic Backlog. Four minis down... hundreds still to go...
*ahem*basing*ahem*
Another piece from @modiphius.bsky.social forthcoming sci-fi battles game, Hardwar: the Spartacus hardbot. Also rather good for Horizon Wars: Midnight Dark.
You never want to be the first to market. ๐ฅฒ
Obviously, Hardwar has a lot of Horizon Wars DNA in its rules. It'll be interesting to see if it pushes players who want a more flexible system using broadly the same rules towards Midnight Dark.
Celestial Heavy Transport. 6mm sci-fi for Hardwar, forthcoming game from @modiphius.bsky.social . Also rather good for Horizon Wars: Midnight Dark, available now on n Wargame Vault! ๐
I feel the call of the Machine.
Oh, I have! ๐ They're great. Just a sample:
I'm reorganizing my studio, and part of this process involves reminding myself of just how many minis I still have waiting to either finish or just start. And I have enough of the old Killwager minis to proxy in my BLKOUT games, for now. So I've reluctantly cleared my basket at the BLKOUT website.
I've got about 360 clamshell blister packs 60x65x20mm container space, looking for a new home. Nearly new. Open to offers. In Cheltenham if you want to collect.
Following up my gradual wrapping up of my ill-conceived foray into retail, I have some Gridwall Panels, accoutrements and hooks for sale. I think these would definitely need to be collected. But if you're in the UK, fancy some cheap Gridwall, and can make it to Cheltenham, make me an offer.

In a fit of post-Christmas nervous energy I am completely reorganizing my studio. The question now is whether the energy will run out before I can reassemble all the shit I've taken apart in the past two days...
Ultramodern trooper from Hasslefree Miniatures.
Has Robin hacked your account, Jamie? ๐คฃ
This guy is Pangolin from the cyberpunk rugby boardgame, Takkure.
Isn't the sequel to Event Horizon called "Warhammer 40,000"?
*different!
I promised a shot of all three XAir Mechs from @reaperminiatures.bsky.social so you can see (1) how student they are from the CAV range but also (2) why the middle one is called "large".
Only relatively! I should get the other two out of the cabinet and take a group shot.
