One of the things i really appreciate about the bond films was their commitment to the exotic, and how the audience concept of the exotic changed over time. Vegas was once seen as exotic, as was the US as a whole, but is no longer viewed so.

β€œAs far as trump is concerned” is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

As far as Trump is concerned, he is the god-king emperor of the world and can do anything he wants to whoever he wants whenever he wants for whatever reason he deigns to provide.

When the owner of a publisher uses the word β€œproducts” instead of β€œbooks” we are already pretty close to the end.

Abolish the legal gender marker entirely. No government can be trusted to have a database of which people have changed theirs, no government has any business tracking what your gender is "supposed" to be in the first place.

And then there was Ron Lim’s consistent, and consistently gorgeous art. He came onto Surfer during Englehart’s run and kept with the title at least into Ron Marz’s stint. At the time, Part of me was disappointed that Lim didn’t get to illustrate the whole of the infinity gauntlet too.

Yep, which is quite audacious in itself. At a time where villains were almost universally defeated after two issues, having a villain keep the upper hand for longer was enough to keep my interest engaged

I do have a soft spot for Jim Starlin’s run, although much of that is about Thanos’s return and how he is clearly more resourful, powerful and simply better than Silver Surfer…

One of the main reasons I don't use AI is that you have to fact-check every single thing it gives you and by the time I do that, I could have just done the research myself.

And repeatedly these β€œlost” episodes have been salvaged, translated into other media, as comics or novelizations, or big finish audio dramas. One such story The Star Beast, even came full circle and was adapted back into a tv episode. In the worlds of Doctor Who, very little remains lost forever…

The news that various scripts were under development for a third season of Disney Doctor Who should not be a cause for consternation, but joy. The show’s history is littered with stories that were commissioned or submitted to the series without making it onto screen.
