The Scout Traveler is coming to market in 2027, the rebirth of a storied and iconic SUV brand here in the States, powered by the wallets of Volkswagen Group and by a mix of electric power and range extended gasoline power to the tune of either 350 all-electric miles or up to 500 gas assisted miles.

I didn’t think Genesis would gain anything from chasing into the Midsize SUV Coupe segment with the GV80 Coupe to battle the likes of the X6, GLE Coupe, Q8 and Cayenne Coupe, but I’m starting to see quite a few of these out and about. Although I still think it needs a rear wiper… #carspotter

Even two years ago it took effort to find hotels with level 2 charging, but now it’s pretty easy, even up in Kingston, NY. Loved that we were able to nearly top off in our quick overnight stay, more than enough to finish today’s leg of the trip without any DC charging stops! #roadtrip #ev #rivian

There goes the neighborhood… haha jk. It’s Kia #EV9 day here!! Excited to test this out and compare against our R1S experience.

It’s gotten a bit better with the subsequent software updates! But yes definitely still a bit trucky. Would argue the Sequoia is also worse than Tundra counterpart.

We’ll get to test one next week! Definitely think it will be competitive with potential efficiency and some feature advantages.
