Gave the book talk. No one checked it out. A week later, I get this note. Apparently, the student came back later to get the book, and LOVED it. I had no idea the book talk had worked!

5th graderβs completed assignment in which the student pointed out the irony that they cannot currently check out a book that is listed in the βI canβt believe itβs not checked outβ section.
