I think, Dani, you mentioned you wouldn't be able to go, but following up that I will be in London in July, so if anyone wants to meet up, lmk.
This sounds right up my alley. Thanks!
Someone will! Ask and ye shall receive.
Oh, interesting. It looks like what we call a "weed wacker." π We "mow" or "cut" the lawn, but perhaps we'd trim the edges... But we would definitely "trim" trees or plants back.
Yes, us too: sideburns, etc.; it is used a lot with hair for cutting... We say for example "Oh you are going to get your hair cut? Are you going to get a new style?" "Nah, I am going to just get a trim." Meaning not a fully new haircut, but more taking off an inch or so, split ends, or what not.
We would also use the word "trim" for something we cut, though rarely grass. But like one's bangs or as another mentioned "trim the fat" or for "trim the excess" like with cutting fabric.
Ok, gtk, across the pond it is the same. Yay!
There could be many definitions for that word that don't apply. Rest assured in my world, it's a nice way to express that someone is slim, unless, perhaps, you use demeaning words with it or a mean tone of voice, I suppose. I have only heard it used in a complimentary way myself.
I feel like when I hear "skinny" it has a body shaming aspect to it going the other way. Do you all as well? I don't get that same feeling from "trim." Regardless of what definitions say, in usage it kinda means someone is "slender" or "slim" in a nice way to me. Do we all feel the same way?
I do love "svelte." π₯°
Great, thank you!!! I'll add it! βΊοΈ
There are a lot of them with artist, huh? Ty for sharing those that fell through the cracks.
Tysm! Does he produce the webtoon for TV, or only for book/still online form? In addition to the drawing, do you know if he wrote anything that would fit in our author category? Trying to figure out if the drama might fit in more categories. π
Yes, he's trim for sure. Those aren't fans.
Let him eat. Geez...
I second your WTF. π€¬
Yay, thank you so much! I've added it to the list!
Yay, I'll add it!
I love that one. Glad to hear that it worked for you in the end. Yay!
We did, but thank you so much for mentioning it. I am always happy to double-check! π
Thanks for the tip!
Wonderful, thank you so much, so many good ones that were missing! Really appreciate the thought you put into it.
Ooo, sounds good. Curious to check it out!
Awesome, tysm!
#AboutLove was also added to our musician list & writer list. Gong is both an artist and writer. Their other buddy is the musician & the ML works in the fashion industry with luxury items shop & appraisals. See this thread 4 other lists. What dramas am I missing? #cdrama #ThaiDrama #jdrama #kdrama
Also, both to our visual artist collab. list. 163 and counting. Any more that fit the criteria?
#cdrama #kdrama #jdrama #tdrama #ThaiDrama #TaiwaneseDrama
Added #AboutLove and #BurnoutSyndrome to our fashion/beauty professionals collab. list. Any others I am missing, peeps? #Cdrama #ThaiDrama #Tdrama #kdrama #jdrama #TaiwaneseDrama
We don't make any claims about that, the category is only for light, funny, and short, so it sounds like a good match.
Would it be considered light and fluffy? If so, it might fit on our escapist short watches list.
