One of our super fans created a time lapse of setting up every game in the Evolution/Oceans/Nature line. I love when our games inspire passion in people.

Perfect soundtrack!
Two wonderful people meeting at GAMA. Maddie from the NorthStar booth and Jason from Happy Camper Games.
Please say hi to Maddie if youβre there. This is her first time at GAMA.
These are issues that deserve conversation. There are no easy answers, which is why thereβs a political divide around them.
This doesnβt apply to willful lies and propaganda. Thatβs a crazy short term issue that we have to deal with. This Hot Take applies to:
When does life get rights?
Whatβs the balance between taking care of people and demanding individual responsibility? Issues that have existed for decades.
Hot take #1
Politically charged issues with millions of people on each side of the debate are always complicated issues without an easy answer.
Hot take #2
Shutting down the opposition keeps us from learning and hinders progress.
Smoothie time!! And then a board game.
My son and cooked breakfast and watched the final episode of Andor. Itβs so good.
Glad to see this opinion is starting to get shared. Itβs seems so obvious that wealth should not be consolidated in such few hands. It makes our country weaker.
My favorite version of Wingspan will get released upon the world at GenCon this year. Iβm so excited for Elizabeth (and for my parents who will get a copy as a gift).
How do I design my games you ask? This is howβ¦
Letting someone go is always tough, especially if you've been working with them for a long time. I feel for you, even if you're making the right call.
Meaning it's hard to stay quite when someone posts something about the games I've designed or the content I've created. Silience is often the best response.
Good lesson for me. It's a hard one to learn.
Seeing a comment on TikTok reminded me that people seemed to have forgotten that interacting with someoneβs content doesnβt mean youβre entitled to a response.
And it goes the other way too, youβre not required to interact with someone just cause they interact with your content.
Understandable. I donβt hold it up as an ideal, but emotionally it makes total sense to me.
Board Game BBQ is a class act. Iβve been very impressed over the years with how focused they are on their community.
Honestly, I donβt think so. It might feel good, but labeling a person as evil is a simplistic way to ignore the complexities of life. It also turns you into the thing youβre fighting against; someone that has lost empathy for a subset of society.
Thatβs great to hear. How old is your son? And are you playing with any modules?
A fantastic review of a game thatβs been making a lot of top 10 lists. Ricky was also the designer of the solo version of Nature and it was a pleasure to work with him.
Thank you for your wonderful work! The Flight banner at GenCon is truly impressive. It pulls a lot of people into the booth.
I somehow missed that Nature is Mike's #3 game of the year! I'm proud our small studio could compete with Asmodee and a LotR license. A big shoutout to the entire team!

This attack is for all the marbles!
An early prototype of the Climate module for Nature. The game just keeps getting better with more cards and systems.

You're the best in the world at one thing; you're my favorite game reviewer. It's not much, but it's something.
btw, there are 8 billion people on this planet.
Par for the course. I need to learn every lesson a bunch of times before it stick. Haha
Nice! I did the opposite last night and decided to open up Twitter for the first time in months. I doom scrolled until 4am.
Deckers is on my list. Whatβd you think of it?
