I wanted these toys as a kid so badly. But never got any of them. Saw the Bronto at a local comic shop but just couldn't justify the collector's price tag

I had a goblin sorcerer who whenever he got scared of something, which was often, he'd use Minor Illusion to make himself look like a small barrel. Didn't matter where he was or what his surroundings were
Anything that would surprise him I'd just go "barrel"
If its more Sci FI, I would say yes, but more Psionic type abilities.
Maybe certain compatibilities between particular humans and aliens cause a resonance that grants those abilities when they're in close proximity to each other
Most JRPGs tend to be turn based so you won't have to worry that much about being "good" at video games
Final Fantasy (6 to 10 or Tactics)
Chrono Trigger is great
Any of the Dragon Quest games (These games HEAVILY influenced the genre)
I love the Suikoden series 1 & 2 had a re-release recently
Whenever my players encounter a problematic door their first question is always "What side are the hinges on?" and they try to remove the door entirely without bothering with a lock
And yes, talk to EVERYONE for that reason
for 1 and 2 that should get you most of them except the last caped raccoon. If you want all the raccoons look it up
If playing the first couple, remember if you talk to some random person and they have a character portrait but won't join you right then. That means you have to come back at a later time to recruit them. That's when you break out the guide ๐
That's a guy who's watched WAY to much porn and believes that the scenarios depicted are how women are really like because he hasn't interacted with a real woman in person
Gail, why do you hate waffles so much!
And yes, the password to get through the door is "Stupid"
the party comes across a large ominous locked door. obvious traps around it. There's also another of those glyphs, triggering it has a message "Don't forget to get rest of the weapons to arm the trap, ask the blacksmith where he's at with them. And change your password, your password is stupid"
the entire room. And the countdown starts again. Key is to just let the lights all go out and the doors open. Put a riddle like clue that suggest they just need to be patient
the othe is they keep running into little glyphs, when triggered is magic mouth of a wizard leaving notes to himself.
couple simple ones I've used. First party enters a room, all doors shut. In the room are a dozen crystals that light up when the door closes. In the middle is a level. One by one the lights start going out one after another. Pulling the lever turns the lights back on and sets off a trap that hits
Started my TTRPG journey playing Marvel FASRIP
Because D&D was evil, but Superheroes were fine
In Rogue One they showed that a fighter won't do the trick. Towards the end of the movie when they get the plans and the Rebels start jumping out. A Star Destroyer comes in and a couple fighters jumping out end up hitting the SD. There are explosions but no real damage done
Getting the Special Editions was a HUGE deal. Which also sparked its own debates. Although Han shot first was a MUCH different controversy than what's argued about now
And no internet meant there was much less of the media illiterate critique flooding the fandom
Used to work in a comic shop during the mid to late 90s. and yeah would agree that the fans i dealt with then were different
But it was a very different time for SW Fans. No real new content since the Ewok movies and Droids cartoon. Getting toys again after a 15+ year drought
Just remember as a Christian Apologist you're not allowed to quote the Bible.
They really hate it when someone has actually read it and can tell them what's in it
Man I so want Basara Prime... but can't justify the $200 price tag
You know of all the old toy lines they could bring back as a revamp or a cartoon that I'd like to see would be Starriors. And I mean if Robo Force could get a remake and a new cartoon, someone could give Starriors a chance.
where's that little Biotron from?
I remember having the old 80s Micronaut toy of that. Had several Micronaut/MIcroman toys growing up
Yeah! No slandering Bobby!
But it would be kinda neat if it turned out that Bobby is a descendant of that kid in the first flashback the Demon Hunters saved. And like the Watchers from Buffy have dedicated themselves to helping the DH's to get their songs out to a larger audience
Would have to see if can remember my login details... that is if my login still exists ๐ฑ
Having the Founder pack equipment did help with the early levels, would be annoying to lose that. And old characters I can rob them of their golf bag of weapons
Just curious, so what server do you play on? I can't for the life of me remember where i used to play on. Thelanis I think? Is that still there?
Its a decent game, I have issues, but overall its not a bad game and a lot of those issues can be worked around by having a guild instead of PUGs
Had a few plot points where the party has encountered a group of slaughtered goblins. They thought nothing of it until they started seeing other groups dead.. more goblins then ogres dead. What could scare hill giants out of their territory? Those basilisks were running from something...
Nothing like something in your PC background that the DM goes "I got plans for that"๐
I always keep FantasyNameGenerator open when I run games. Because someone is going to ask who that random tavern waitress is
And I have a list of Tavern names too. Made up a few but I am also using the Golden Mile pub crawl taverns from Simon Pegg's World's End. No one's noticed that one yet ๐
I just toss them on an electric grill. But usually have brats over hotdogs
After they found that out when that player was telling a story about his black widow Aunt one of the other players just yells out "STOP GIVING THE DM MORE IDEAS!"
Had a player who had a very large and very evil extended family. He'd make up stories about things they'd done in the past. Everyone thought it was funny until they met his Grandfather a lich. They realized I was tracking everything he had said
