Even in the state English NHS patients families and staff (some patient exceptions, E.g. Nicu parents) have to pay for parking. Even if hospitals not close to train stations and not easy bus.

Majority of children had at least 1 admission between neonatal discharge and their 2nd birthday, mostly short unplanned admissions for respiratory infections.
