Chickens can eat eggshells as a calcium supplement.

If I think there’s a chance that I might eat a bit of eggshell (e.g. peeling my boiled eggs this morning) it genuinely calms me down to think to myself “I’m basically a chicken. It would be extra calcium.”

basically I have an ebike because I have exercise induced asthma (which doesn't even normally give me trouble!! I forget I have it!!!!) and when I try to ride a normal bike I go very quickly to "am I blacking out???" (this is actually how I realized I have asthma). Anyway the ebike is great!

I ordered this climbing rose to train over the new garden bench I got, and I’m getting hype

(I have 50/50 success in getting roses to live through their first year here, so that’s the tension. This one will have a little more shade, which is probably both good and bad)

I don’t think it’s direct, I don’t think it’s “no more headphone jacks and immediately people become awful,” I think people gradually got more used to using speaker/loud mode/speakerphone and stopped thinking about it (or if they’re knowingly being rude it made it easier lol)

I literally think this is all a result of “no more headphone jacks, Bluetooth only” design. Like I used to be headphones only, but now when I’m home I’m only doing speakerphone calls and my volume’s up. Bluetooth headphones are so annoying and they drain battery, like it’s fine but

We're at a point where there are no cheap options to retreat to and no price points that guarantee quality. Every run-down studio is $1400, every fast food meal is $17, every luxury condo has peel-n-stick tiles, every $300 pair of boots falls apart. Endless expensive mediocrity.

At least I got everything else in the ground somewhat earlier. And the augur is all set up for the daffodils now (they’re going on a slope on my front lawn)
