I'm glad Rhys is back and don't doubt he'll get back on track, but I must admit I'm still looking forward to the day he finally decides to compete floor after so many years of teasing it.

Obviously, I feel for the student athletes first and foremost. But I bet KJ must feel weird about all this too. She built a hell of a program there until she finally saw the writing on the wall and chose to move on. Otherwise, she really wanted to stay and continue building ISU's success.
Wow, the downfall of GAGE is actually happening π± I truly hope their athletes eventually find somewhere better to pursue their endeavors.
I give Canada full permission to let Ellie Black and Felix Dolci win AA at the next Pan American Games as consolation.
IIRC they dated around the time Jason was breaking out as a senior and Jaycie was on hiatus/recovering from a knee injury.
I also remember when Jaycie Phelps and Jason Gatson were a couple (though never married). And Brett and Jason were teammates lmao.
The ASMR potential.
Paul Juda needs to write a book. He's full of stories for days.
Just sad they both flopped floor π They are so great there too.
That fall reminded me of all the drops to prone that were so common out of passes in the '80s and '90s π€£
I'd love gymnastics to be as publicly transparent as figure skating, but I really do think gymnastics (artistic at least) has been making a sincere effort to be as objective as possible. Granted, it's still not without its problems, especially involving D scores, but I'm glad it's not NCAA.
Figure skating and rhythmic fandoms truly make me appreciate the artistic gymnastics fandom.
It's a joke of a service that doesn't even work half of the time.
My mom still hasn't dug out her car. I think we can finally do that tomorrow. π€£
AMG having no prior coaching experience was already concerning, but now the entire coaching team is so thin on experience. There's really no one to be a mentor or keep them afloat through the ups and downs.
It's wild to think ISU was once a pretty strong program where KJ first made her mark as a coach before her OU legacy. I hope they reevaluate their situation and figure out their priorities.
Yesterday and today are the first days above freezing (at least in NOVA) since the winter storm, and I can't believe how "warm" 36 felt yesterday.
Good luck to Punxsutawney Phil tomorrow. I sure don't envy him!
She's one of the only few I give a pass on the compulsory NCAA UB routine. It's the only routine that's worked for her consistently.
Never thought I'd feel so eager for Monday and finally have a day above freezing.
Man, she was the mom or fun auntie to so many of us throughout our lives π’

"Wanna lose weight so I made a Diet Note"
Lately I've discovered many IG accounts of students tracking and posting fat squirrels that roam around their university campus. I've decided every single university and community college should have an official social media account just for that.
Maybe itβs time to waterproof my phone because I canβt seem to bathe or groom myself every morning without a medical receptionist, case manager or RN calling me.
Lily Pederson's UB score was mathematically impossible for the mistakes she made. There's no way the judges can rationalize her score.
Well, as sad as it is to see this come to an end, I'm sure Eddie will continue being Donnell's biggest cheerleader.
He intended to return last year for Pan American Championships, but it sounded like the federation wanted him to have more than floor to compete, so he wasnβt selected. But I guess heβs ready now for World Cups at least.
