Either Republicans need to get their heads out of their ass, or someone needs to invent teleportation within the next week, because I have a flight to Japan booked next Thursday and I'm not missing it because of these fucking turds in Washington.

Pete Hegseth giving a rousing military speech.
Every time I get inspired, motivated, and hopeful that something good will come if I just set my mind to it, it's not too long before reality sets in, and it's apparent that I should never feel hope again. Woop woop happy Monday.
Look, I like Epic Universe, but can someone please explain why there are flux capacitors on the back of Stardust Racers? That's such a confusing detail to me. Is it time travel themed?
No Kings (except this one)
I don't know why I thought Happy Gilmore 2 would be anything other than, "Hey, remember the first movie?"
Really feeling the effects of working 70-80 hours a week for the last month or so. I don't know why I can't just say no to extra work.
I like how we all used to regard turn-based RPGs like some relic of the past, kinda like adventure games. But then Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 comes out and makes everyone look like a fool. I hope we see more.
Please continue to waste millions of dollars for this loser. Thank you.
Getting more and more clients that email me and talk in business speak. Throwing around terms like Net 30. Think I almost prefer working with bands that just shoot me a DM saying "hey, how much for shirts."
(For the record, I don't do net 30, net 60, net anything. Full payment up front, thank you)
When I was a kid I went to a Titanic museum on a field trip, and upon learning that the ship sank on April 15th, one of the chaperones loudly said, "ugh, tax day." I didn't know what that meant then, but now I think about it every year.
Maybe in a couple hundred years, whatever ends up surviving humans will do the science to bring us back from extinction. But also, maybe what survives us will learn from Jurassic Park that they should've just left it alone.
Kinda wild to me that gamers have been dunking on Nintendo for years for the Switch being an inferior system spec wise, but when they try to beef up their next console people say it's not worth the money.
BRB, learning Japanese so I can buy a much cheaper Switch 2.
Kinda jealous of dogs right now.
Getting really tired of seeing the "dudes just talking" genre of podcasts.
Previewed Epic Universe today. Man, that place rules so hard. Watch out, Disney.

Anytime I hear someone talk about crypto currency I feel like 90 year old man in 1995 learning about the internet for the first time.
Hard or soft enamel? I have some experience making pins, and could usually get 100 for around $300.
Red Rocket (2021)
Eventually, it's all about the views, and if they aren't improving, then you just want to give up. You get burned out spending so much time on something that, in retrospect, looks like a waste of time. Algorithms kill creativity. They just do.
The next day, you check to see how the video did after the first day, and it has just 24 views. And some of those are you. You say, "Oh well," maybe the next one will pop off. Suddenly, it becomes more about the views and not just passion.
The reality of being a small creator on YouTube with practically no audience. You spend hours making a video, knowing probably no one will watch it. But that's okay, because it's just a hobby for you. It's your passion. It's not about the views. But then you think people MIGHT watch it.

It's been a couple of months since I started back on YouTube, and I'm noticing a trend in my views. Every video has a spike in the first couple of days, and then flatlines. Is that typical? It's like YouTube only gives it a brief window to pop off, but after that, it's done.
I like playing bass because if I mess up, no one really notices. That said, I think I'm kind of okay at bass.
