Have seen a lot of previously attached vertices and edges all of a sudden *not* being connected when using this specific version without having any modifiers or mirroring etc

Became more obvious when it happened while I wasn't even editing it and was just *looking* at the UV's

Okay I tend to gaslight myself when tech doesn't work but caught it doing odd things such as randomly detaching vertices that were connected a second before without editing the mesh

I've used Blender quite a lot in the past and am VERY thorough in making sure things are connected

It is just acting very odd and many options seem to not even work at all like they have for me in the past so might try an earlier version to see if that works better for me

I can't see how I'd been able to make lil 3D movies or game art with how it is rn so suspect it might be a bit borked for me

hmm as expected the transparent background doesn't work, put off uploading any graphics on transparent backgrounds due to it but was curious what background colors it defaults to etc
