I second this. If you want to get it for a smidge cheaper than retail, Humble Bundle has it for 10% off currently.

I just came up with a new Magic format.
You bring a deck of 10 cards, no build restrictions.
Everyone ignores the decks while hugging each other, sobbing quietly.
Thoughts?
What can I say? Sometimes, one just hears the whispers of the muse. #pokemon
He's such a good pupper.
He makes Squirrels.
He does damage.
He plays fetch.
He can go infinite alone.
Who's a good boy?!
I don't care what anyone says.
This is art.
Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise Lego set box on the floor with a White Cheddar Cheez-It on it.
How big is the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise Lego set?
This big.
White Cheddar Cheez-It for scale.
Reasonable Concern: I'm concerned that starting conflicts by removing (capturing/eliminating) leaders of other countries may cause problems globally. I don't think this is a good idea.
Typical Online Response: What!? You support tyrants?!
I think your auto insurance should pay out for the emotional damage caused by your car getting between you and your cardboard. That's just MY opinion though.
The format, Tiny Leaders Reborn, is responsible for my recent rekindled appreciation for Magic.
The built in restrictions of TLR have made me look at cards, both new and old, through a different lense.
It's also glorious that the decks are so easy to shuffle.
I love the pizza lands, the AC lands were cool too.
A blue pennant with a white pole. Words saying: "Marked Safe From Pizza Lands"
I love UB, I also like to offer support to those with different tastes. In that vein, here is a picture those with the fear of the Zza can use.
I'd like to take this a step farther. Have nights where I get to curate the list of allowable attendees. You're invited btw.
So, in conclusion, "As a professional Magic player", thanks for reading all of this. ๐ฅฐ
End result: The comment section gives people an outlet that I don't take personally because I'm setting them up for it. Also, with all the gamersplaining that gets added to the comments, each of the videos becomes a source of good information for anyone who wants to parse through all the comments.
Even with joke content, people lack the ability to step outside their initial emotional response and see that the posts are labeled as SATIRE/JOKE content.
They will lash out with visceral comments expressing their disgust in my ineptitude OR they explain to me why the card is actually good.
Rather than fight upstream, I decided to make content that takes advantage of this media literacy blind spot.
Now I purposely say good cards are bad and suggest bad cards in their place.
I label every video as Satire/Joke content. But guess what happens:
When I make thoughtful well-planned posts about Magic, people still tell me all those same things.
My take is dumb. I'm terrible at Magic. My logic is flawed.
Most of the time, it's people not actually responding to what I was saying, but what they wanted to THINK I was saying.
People told me how dumb my take was.
They told me that I couldn't possibly be a professional magic player.
They told me my logic was flawed.
Which is all 100% correct!
You may ask, does Len have some sort of degradation kink? No, I don't, but here's why I've leaned so heavily into this.
I made a post saying that I was a professional Magic player, giving BS excuses why you should never pay the tax on Rhystic Study. (Which is terrible advice)
Guess what happened?
An explanation of why I almost exclusively make satire/joke bait-like content on TikTok now.
Context: I've been making daily content on TikTok for roughly 3 years now. Most of what I make has been light-hearted, funny, but truthful opinion content about Magic.
Fast forward to the last 6 months.
Rhino? More Like Pino (Pirate in name only) amirite?!
This depicts a flow chart titled "UNIVERSES BEYOND SATISFACTION FLOW CHART" The chart splits into 3 distinct paths: Path 1: DO YOU LIKE UB? If Yes, COOL, KEEP PLAYING (end path 1) Path 2: DO YOU LIKE UB? If No, ENOUGH TO QUIT MAGIC? If Yes, COOL, QUIT (end path 2) Path 3: DO YOU LIKE UB? If No, ENOUGH TO QUIT MAGIC? If No, COOL, KEEP PLAYING (end path 3)
A lot of people are expressing how much they dislike Universes Beyond, which is okay, you do not need to like it!
I made this handy flow chart to help handle the influx of Universes Beyond sets in Magic: the Gathering.
Be willing to disengage from hobbies that you no longer enjoy.
A universus starter deck from the teenage mutant ninja turtles set with a magic the gathering logo and the words commander deck sloppily taped onto it.
Some sketchy dude behind my local CVS was selling TMNT MTG commander decks out of his trunk.
Did I get ripped off?
Colossal Dreadmaw edited to say Colossal Dread, the flavor text now reads: If you feel it, it's too late.
Anyone have any removal on hand? I could really benefit from removing this one from the board.
Gaea's Balance {3}{G} Sorcery As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice five lands. Search your library for a land card of each basic land type, put those cards onto the battlefield, then shuffle. Illustrated by Rebecca Guay
Are you running this in your WUBRG decks?
TEXT: That feeling when you think you saw your father in public Picture: A ghost saying "hahaha just kidding you're dead" to another ghost.
I see him more now than I did when he was alive. I rate the experience 0/10.
I like that it's aggressively costed and maybe will show promise with mayhem.
Rotlung puts in the work! I remember how solid it was in standard. ๐ฅฐ
