Not at all diminishing this, but the vast majority of people who would attend the WC already have visas. On the margin it’ll likely make a difference, but most are not new applicants at this point, which is who this policy affects. Bigger likely impact is fear of travel here imo.

Does what they think is right align more with what you think is right than what the others are doing?
