The Big 5 test is about twice as accurate as the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator for predicting life outcomes, placing the usefulness of the MBTI test halfway between science and astrology.
Any psychologist will tell you, the Meyers-Briggs is mostly bullshit.

Whatever they’re feeling, they’ve learned how large their village has become.
And further, yes, the primary trait needed for leadership is character and competence. So it is not in the best interests of an organization to make it easy to wield power. But often the hoops to jump through are more culturally-narrow than they need to be, repelling good people.
And yes, younger people and outsiders from a different culture for their part, if they are interested in leadership, need to look past the superficial barriers (food, clothing, formality of meetings, communication methods) and assume they are not being intentionally excluded.
"We send out all information through email. No, we will not correspond with that younger person through text! No GroupMe! No Slack! No Discord! No Instagram! No Google Docs! I don't know why they don't attend."
"We're a bunch of retired people who don't allow comments or questions about anything not on the agenda sent ahead of time and run meetings in a very formal way because it is the right way to run meetings. Why don't young people or people from other cultures want to be on our board?"
This is a crude way of getting at the issues, but I was thinking about passages in the Pauline letters (1 Corinthians 9-11, Galatians 3) and how to be proactively inclusive rather than allow superficial issues (business clothes, Robert's Rules of Order) to intimidate outsiders.
A pastor can't find younger leaders for the church board. I wondered about the culture. "My kids like Chipotle burritos, zero sugar A&W Root Beer and Cream Soda, Takis, Scandinavian Swimmers gummy candy, and brownies. Would your age 65+ board be open to meetings with those?"
