The chicken crossed the road. Then it crossed another and another. When stopped by passersby and asked why it was crossing road after road, it merely looked at them with beady eyes. Then it whispered, “Mind your own business.”
Have you heard of dobsonflies? They’re huge and the males have huge tusks.
Do you remember years ago that video of the hiker who was followed by a big cat (might have been a mountain lion) for miles? Haunted by that. That could have turned so bad so fast!
It’s just such an unusual story, I had to share! Definitely shows their intelligence and their mischievousness.
Very cool animals, but yeah, they can be very intelligent and very unpredictable.
On the lighter side of things, my mom’s aunt’s neighbor had a pet chimp back in the day. When he got mad, he’d go to the fridge, take out the eggs, and throw them at the wall.

Octopuses are so alien to me. I’ve seen one climb out of the water and like… crawl to reach another part of the tank it was in. Just unsettling.
