Today has been one of those days where I think I’m all caught up and then bam 5 new emails appear.

I get that libraries are moving to eBooks. But when the eBook doesn't include what page in the physical book I am "looking" at, or the page numbers don't match at all, I get very concerned. 🤬

Okay so had some flight changes before I even left Kansas. Now “should” be in NC by 10:30 pm (rather than the planned 4:30 pm)

So, not everyone can apply everywhere. As a white cis gay male, I felt okay about applying to a job in Kansas, but only in a large city. But why do I get the sense these guys were “Coastal R1 or bust”?

While I wish @joycedidonato.bsky.social could have been here in person, I’m still so glad I got to hear her commencement address. Value process, value humility, value service, value joy.

This is also why I *always* tell my students to double check the math on all grades. I will make mistakes and I am always happy to make them right!
