It was so annoying that the only legitimate thing he needed to be Khan for was to have his augment blood bring Kirk back to life (itself super dumb, as much as reversing the Kirk/Spock moment was a decent idea). And then they never mention it again.

I definitely understand the desire for something that’s a bit more of a comfort show than Disco, SNW or Academy. TNG excelled at that, though Lower Decks might’ve actually been better at it.

A carbon copy isn’t the answer but I do hope we eventually get a show less focused on conflict and tension.

As much as I love the Foundation/Robot series and think the TV show stands on its own, idealizing men like Isaac is utterly contrary to the whole concept of what scifi is supposed to be.

See the shitty past and present with clear eyes, then use that awareness to be part of a better future.

Not to mention they’ll just shell game the $ wherever they want within DHS, congress’s intent be damned. Plus the election rigging force won’t just be ICE.

If they’re hitting these notes midseason in episode 5 (and early reviews said the next couple episodes are even better), I can’t wait to see them go full tilt in the finale.

Yeah, I’m interested to learn more about the photonics of Kasq, they seem pretty scary and traumatized but with a tantalizing hint of wanting to change.

Tonight’s episode of SFA was a beautiful tribute and a great way of getting around the problem of him not really wanting to come back to the franchise except in the mildest possible way. The DS9 characters who show up were amazing.
