At the end it looks like he might be considering going back inside immediately. Did he, or did he take his time with it? :)

If you've never seen Citizen Kane you might have seen this gif but are unaware of its context.
The character paid for his wife to have an opera career, and the audience is politely clapping, dissatisfied by her performance. He angrily claps to try to drown them out.
This is a post about "Melania".
To this day shitty people claim Danica only won in Indycar because her weight gave her an advantage.
That said, later on when they implemented ballast to make Driver Equivalent Weight, you're STILL better off being lighter because then you can put the ballast low, which helps the center of gravity.
Screenshot of Captain Picard, with his famous line altered, "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness, that is the Ridley fight."

Janet Guthrie, the first woman to race in the Indy 500, once said "automotive competition added the element of trying to beat the other driver, while at the same time you were responsible for his well-being. A very compelling combination."
One wrong move could literally kill your opponent.
I just wish I could get the viewership numbers among my friend group to be higher than one. :)
I like this take.
Alternatively, I could argue that the "retro era" of gaming has a specific beginning and end, in the same way that the "modern era" of music does. Modern music does not simply mean "made recently".
I've had five years of not being able to get rid of my team's project management responsibilities because there's nobody better at communication.
This reminds me a LOT of the MASH segments when Hawkeye reads the newspaper from his hometown.
How about Nascar spotter Brett Griffin skipping the Chicago race cause it was too dangerous, then spending the weekend in Myrtle Beach which has HIGHER crime rate stats? π
I typed that out even before seeing Chicago in your bio!
I bought a Switch in late 2019 for the sake of travel... π
It didn't see much use in the first couple years I owned it.
I recently read that Silversun Pickups were surprised to hear everyone compare them to Smashing Pumpkins, cause they never really listened to the band. π
A screenshot of Bismuth's post as it appears on my PC, with the emoji not displaying correctly.
It shows up like this for me. I wonder if it's because I changed the emoji font in Windows.
Had to gif this moment of @wbuxtonofficial.bsky.social
It's clearly evident how much excitement this man has for #indycar
Even more impressive than the Pfaff Porsche's catch of the Corvette wheel nut. :)
Ah, thanks.
Maybe at the back of the cab?
For light work that doesn't need the full weight of Gimp I've also had lots of success with PaintDotNet. I use it all the time for stuff like resizing, cropping, or basic masking.
Every time I get a slight hint of "ugh, another Palou win", I hear his happiness on the radio and see it on his face, and I come around to be happy for him.
Will Buxton does a good job, but I'm sad, cause I feel like Leigh Diffey would've made a Hall of Fame worthy call on this race.
Best Possible Time is when you're hanging out with your true family at a Backyard BBQ drinking beers and eating the best hotdogs and hamburgers ever and talking about family with your true family like in The Fast and the Furious movie franchise. Everything is in slow motion like the sun is shining through a filter that absorbs the love of true cosmic family energy. Your voice is a deep, sexy, murmuring growl.
From @zoasterino.bsky.social 's channel:
An emoji guitar with emoji wings.
A low-effort photoshop of a guitar with wings.
Two low-effort guitars with emoji wings, one on a guitar emoji, and one on a wikipedia photo of a guitar.
Either of those would be infinitely better in every way.
Thanks, I appreciate the tip!
A photo of Pato O'Ward's car from the 2023 Indycar race at Laguna Seca.
One thing that shocked me seeing the cars in person was how vivid McLaren's cars are. Your photo has the shade of papaya I remember seeing, and the broadcast makes it look totally different.
It's hard though, my photo looks even more washed out than the broadcast.
Engaging with her work in any way keeps it in the cultural lexicon. HBO loved how much Game of Thrones was pirated, because it led to more subscriptions.
It would be better to fill your time with other art, so you fill your headspace and conversations with those works instead of HP.
I'm also hurting actors and filmmakers by not watching the movies, I'm hurting editors and publishers by not reading the books.
That's the entire point, there's a massive economy feeding into her hatred for trans folks, and the best way to help is to not engage with her work in any way.
Or you could just find other games. There's a trope about how everyone has far too big a Steam backlog to ever play everything, why play this game that helps the HP cultural dominance when you could play Celeste or Outer Wilds or Slay the Princess or literally anything else made by good people?
Incidentally, I discovered them a few years ago when they opened for Silversun Pickups, who ALSO just started a new tour.

There's an Aussie band that just started their first headline tour of the US that I highly recommend.
Their latest album has a very dreamy feel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xhrm...
Their previous album was an intentional throwback to late 90s pop-rock: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlzB...
But this hasnβt necessarily been a problem for HBO. In 2013, the boss of Time-Warner (which owns HBO), Jeff Bewkes, declared that piracy was: βBetter than an Emmyβ because more people watching the show inevitably led to more people deciding to pay for subscriptions. He said: Weβve been dealing with this for 20, 30 years β people sharing subs, running wires down the backs of apartment buildings. Our experience is that it leads to more paying subs. I think youβre right that Game of Thrones is the most pirated show in the world and thatβs better than an Emmy. Since then, GoT has repeatedly become the most pirated series of all time in every season. And with season seven this record was broken yet again.
Piracy keeps her media culturally relevant, which leads to more people spending money on it.
Buy something worthy of your time AND your money, then you'll also be playing something worth recommending to your friends.
