TLDR: leftists aren’t the dominant political party anywhere in the world and if we want to make the changes we believe in, we need the masses on our side. Dems argue to do that we need to abandon “woke” issues, but what we actually need is to simply reframe them into something people can understand.

This allows a topic like decolonization to be in discussion as part of the transformative education being offered, but it doesn’t imply that you need to already understand an idea that simply isn’t taught in this country before coming to learn.

We can lower the barriers without changing the goal.⬇️
