Perhaps a bit harsh, but the elements I'm using from BG3 involve favour with party members, branching storylines, some aspects of the itemisation and the ability to use spells / abilities outside of combat - the actual combat is more like the standard final fantasy style :)

My friend showed me Sea of Thieves for the first time yesterday and it took me a solid 3 minutes to accidentally blow up + crash the boat in such a horrific way that it got stuck to the point we physically could not move it and had to go into the settings and all to reset it 10/10 game would suggest
