Jersey Jack is soon releasing a pinball machine based on Harry Potter which I will just be referring to as Hateful Pissfuck. Any venue that puts in an HP machine now, is sending a message & I won't be going near your venue. She hates women and especially trans women. Fuck anything HP & fuck her.

Playing this thing tomorrow but I like how old skool Williams this looks and you had me at Freres. Dude knows how to make a pin I'll love. This machine screams universal studios to me somehow.
I also really miss crossovers in games. Maybe that's not a thing they can do with IPs anymore but boy would it blow my mind if they did some easter eggs of Godzilla in this.
Stern teased this and I like the look of this, I like that it's Elwin, I like that they're not raising the price. I really hope they finally make a game that has callouts that don't sound like some really bored dude sitting in a white room reading off a paper.

People just blindly use this shit and you all wonder why your apps are broken. Why simple functionality is buggy. Why a simple tool does weird things.
It's because modern devs don't think, they vibe code.
I've seen this in practice and it sucks.
They spend more time fixing AI code than making code
On top of that AI will cast variables even if the version you're using cannot cast and even if casting actually throws an error. That's because AI doesn't know things, it just does things. It can't learn from testing unless you tell it how to learn. It can reinforce bad programming.

I need my Pinky fix! I've been waiting for this to release. I played the demo and had so much dumb fun.
To top this all off most of the new machines were breaking down. CGC's machines had numerous problems with sensors and switches failing. Flippers weakened quickly in gameplay. Sterns felt overpowered and lots of flying balls on the new machines. JJP & Spooky seemed to have the best eod condition.

The John Wick topper is nice looking but ffs it's not worth the price.
The Venom topper... it's a thing I guess. Still looks cheap.
X-Men, has not improved and still feels flat and unfinished
P3 only brought 2 machines, only 1 was Portal.

Metallica Remastered - Stern - 6.6
Keep your original you ain't gonna miss a thing. Aerosmith joke. I make it known I hate Metallica (the band) for many reasons but this game doesn't really improve on the original in a way I enjoyed. Like many I prefer the original, but it's not my jam.
Cactus Canyon with Sheats ed - CGC - 9.0
The Sheats mod does step up this machine but I'm outraged this wasn't core to the game ($1200?!). It feels like it belonged on it to begin with. It adds some gameplay changes and I enjoyed it more but CC still feels a little drab in audio presentation.
Dungeons & Dragons: Tyrant's Eye - Stern - 6.2
I'm starting to think I just don't like Stern machines. This fell flat for me and I love D&D. I thought I'd love this machine but I was so bored and shots were obviously set up to force you to use the shield.
I hate center buttons.

Evil Dead - Spooky - 9.8
One of the best experiences I've had with pinball. This is on par with the experience of Labyrinth but not nearly as hard and a lot more fun. The callouts are awesome, shots feel great, the lower playfield is minimal and fun, the game is awesome. The cabin had some problems.
Medieval Madness Merlin edition - CGC - 7.9
This re-re-release looks really gorgeous. The gold trim inside, the playfield art is more vivid, the topper is nice, and the cabinet trim is superb. Sensors weren't working, the castle was already breaking down, the flippers were weird.
Portal - P3 - Rating 7.2
Lots of parts break, they always do on P3. It's a fun game and good ideas but the P3 system sucks. This should have been a full machine. The artwork is decent but the decals and plastics cheapen the look. The playfield screen is crap quality and hard to read.

Not long ago we had a major disruption with surprise layoffs. Lots of talented people lost their job and we just found out why with an acquisition. While my job is safe for now, the writing is on the wall because this is now a pattern.
AI is not a replacement. It's a fast low quality substitute.
The future of business is to lay people off so you can buy a business that does AI so that you can lay more people off to buy another business for more AI to lay everyone off so it's just rich people laughing while everything becomes a homogenous blob of boring broken mush.
