I read/listen a lot, author voice is so distinct/near-synesthetically-world-weaving for me, any higher-level textures of slop so grating. Perhaps because its optimization is atomized/digital instead of holistic/integrated across scales? Hewn by money, polished by likes. Real writing feeds on soul.
