Finished an arrangement for this last night. Felt good!
Same. There were a couple of choices that really hindered the whole thing. Too messy, too much going on. Thematic elements get lost. A Bonnie and Clyde take on Frankenstein is interesting enough on its own! It felt bloated and didn't know what it wanted to be.

I know its just now hitting a wider release, but if eligible (2025 SXSW premiere), Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie just hit the top of my list after seeing it last week. I adored that movie.
Train Dreams also just kinda blew me away, so I'll put a vote in for that.

Your dad seemed like an awesome guy! I remember being 6 and seeing my dad beat Super Mario Bros for the first time. It made him seem superhuman to me. So I learned what to do in that game from watching him first.
