Name that legitimate aim! As it cannot be good health outcomes as the NHS has shown that to be largely irrelevant.

My understanding was that biological sex was whatever is written on your original birth certificate. Certificated sex is what is written on an amended birth certificate. You maybe right though now I come to think it over.

If certificated sex can be the same as biological sex, the Supreme Court Ruling is made even more incoherent.

Of course I can’t get married until I wait 8 - 15 years. To then tell a stranger how I lost my virginity. Then I go to a panel who will see if I’m worthy. Then I might be able to marry without lying.

My mum was on stage with them once.

If you have been blessed with a trans child;

1. Keep them away from the NHS
2. Try and move abroad if you can
3. Be prepared to fight transphobic staff at school
4. Find other sources of hormones/medication. If you can, get a car loan to pay for them.
5. Protect them from all governmental agencies.

They will raise the eligibility age to 25 “in line with the Cass Review”

Sorry I was talking about over 18s there. You’re right. Plus under 18 trans people should avoid NHS gender services wherever possible.

How are they linked to LGB Alliance? I’ve got a meeting with Darren Jones soon and it might be useful.

I’m looking into this. I have found NHS guidelines that say that GPs should not just offer blood tests as harm reduction but if you are sourcing from unregulated vendors then they should do bridging prescriptions. I need to do more research to see if there is a loophole I’m missing.

I don’t disagree. The best thing to do right now I feel is support the young trans community. Make safe spaces for them before on and off line. Listen to them and go from there. If Gillick competent support them with options and try to find the best outcome for them.
