The Pleb Reporter @truckdriverpleb (a far right big twitter account based in Canada often amplified by Elon Musk etc) admitting that he posted an image of an innocent trans person that he believed to be a mass murderer before it had been verified. Because it's being so widely shared he's not seeking out to try and stop people from sharing his original post and undoing the damage he's done, ends with "sincere apologies"

An image of a trans person (who lives on the other side of the country) is circulating online because of a bunch of far right accounts on social media are claiming it's the Tumbler mass shooter. This individual had nothing to do with it.

These kind of lies get innocent LGBTQ+ people hurt or killed
