Back to back π. Used up all my luck today π new edition of the Energy π coming soon.
Mostly Ajani. It's a R permanent too. You can make a 4/4 haste creature to close a game with Quarry. There is marginal card filtering upside (if you discard a land you'll trigger Scout). It's a 1 drop creature, which has a high floor in this shell. Further questions: docs.google.com/document/d/1...
In Match 2 and Match 3, I hid Jegantha postboard to force my opponent to consider Mindbreak Trap in their decisions. (This works better in paper, you have to be very fast on MTGO to avoid the suspicious pause).
Tell's not really a factor for me. A lot of people already know I'm on Energy as soon as they read my username or see my face. As for SB, you'd have to have a hell of a SB card just to overcome the math on Jegantha being an 8th card always. I didn't buy Jegantha once in this league - would still run
π with RW. I don't know why I bother testing other Energy shells, this deck is so broken. Match-ups were not easy but I had the right SB and a good bit of luck!
I quite like ποΈLegion's LandingποΈ. I think online I will cut Meower/Kitten, probably for πΊHexing SquelcherπΊ (it's good against SNS).

Only kidding:
His most terrible servants.
I think you get quite a lot of value here from opponents freaking out about Turn 1 Guide and stifling their own development to answer it (which is what you should do against a T1 Guide if your opponent is playing 60 cards), when actually it is pretty medium in the list. Call it 'fear factor'
I can explain. One of the main draws to the list is Starfield Shepherd, giving you 8 total cheap 5-MV creatures to throw around with Bombardiers. To support Shepherd, you need 1 drops. Guide is the best option because it is generically powerful, synergies with Ajani, jumps bomba. Hope this helps.

I'm in the waiting room on some π’π₯· TMT π₯·π’ brews and I just picked up Hades 2 on my Switch, so I'll be taking another rain check on the stream this weekend. In this meantime, enjoy the latest piece of likely-terrible draft chaff that I intend to force my Legacy opponents to read:
Got a brand new Containment Priest bug for @magiconline.bsky.social to look at. Priest flashed in response to Muxus, exiling a buncha stuff including Squee. Squee should still be castable from exile, but I wasn't able to.
3-2-1, lost to BW DNT in the QF. List is strong but loses an edge in the mirror for sure βοΈ
No RCQ stream today because Iβm playing Mono W DNT at a paper 1k instead! Wish me luck π

@sawatarix.bsky.social I canβt find Julian or EE on here but I need you both to know that in British English a purzelbaum / forward roll is called a βroly-polyβ (pronounced roll-ee pole-ee). π¬π§
thought of the day, people would be way better off if they stopped just thinking about win rates and started thinking about why a deck is good versus another deck instead. almost all sets of matches are insufficiently large

We had a great match in the SF! Lots of back and forth. I got insanely lucky in G2 and top decked multiple perfects to get out of the bind Pokemoki had put me in.
