Islet from aged mouse vs islet from young mice after 10 weeks of IF - IHC for Nkx6.1

Today, we report that chronic intermittent fasting impairs beta-cell maturation and function in adolescent mice. Using scRNAseq, we delineated a "maturation score" for beta-cells. Long-term IF good if you're older, might be harmful if you are still developing!
