For more traditional illustration, agencies are a good route as well as looking through the AOI and similar organisations across the world. There's a myriad of ways to find us, it's all about narrowing the search.

I'd say that most mid/late career illustrators aren't on Fiverr (myself included). Where to look for artists all depends on what you yourself are looking for. Artstation is a very good resource as it is a portfolio site that's highly searchable, but gears itself more towards gaming and 3d.
