This is a very, very stupid letter. It doesn't, I think, even really work for its target audience of Labour MPs - let alone the audience it has found.
If sincere, it also reveals a fundamental unreality and objectionable mindset.
Similarly, in Caerphilly Labour accused Plaid Cymru (left-leaning) and Reform (we all know where they are on the political spectrum) of being 'different poison, same bottle'. I don't know how they think this kind of comment helps anyone, least of all progressive politics.
