In the VA deal..
BC got the now returned '25 2nd rd selection (9th), '25 4th rd selection (29th) & CGY's '2626 2nd Rd.
CGY got VA, BC's '25 4th rd (32nd) & BC's '26 3rd rd.
RESULT: CGY got VA for a 4th rd pick swap & dropping '26 one round, + player they take 17th this year.
The #BCLions exceeded '24 cap by more than $300k = They forfeit their highest 1st & 2nd round picks.
Highest waiver priority is CGY who gets BC's highest 1st & 2nd (3rd & 9th ovr) at the end of each rd (8th & 17th).
One of those picks (9th ovr) CGY sent BC for VA. BC doesn't pick until 12th now.
Getaway day at the #CFLCombine, but not before the pads go on one more time!

CFL stats team hooks me up with lots of data to play with when not grinding to prep weekly in-season!!
The perception that he somehow had a slow or lacklustre second half I think was a team driven narrative being applied to a singular player unfairly… Based on this, he obviously crushed the competition from start to finish so I couldn’t agree more MAYBE outside of a surefire big game QB.
