another increase in fuel costs overnight, it will take 2 months for the extra cost of fuel being transported here. This is strictly profiteering by Tim Houston's handlers , the elite are profiteering off of world events that they control and orchestrated. We must shine a light on these few now

And yet…. Oil prices have not gone up nearly that much. But as always, put it on the consumer.

I sent a letter to every single MLA (plus their ministerial emails). It was addressed to Houston, Lohr and my MLA but everyone else was in CC.

The answer to reining Houston in is forcing members of his caucus to represent their constituents. If 15 PC MLAs refuse to vote for the budget, Houston will have to rework it. He can’t throw them all out of caucus without losing the big majority that’s allowed him to act like a dictator.

N.S. government MLAs say grant cuts necessary to protect 'core' services | CBC News Government MLAs are acknowledging that cuts in their latest budget are difficult for the people impacted but say it was a necessary step to preserve core services.

Why even have ministers in charge of seniors & LT care,
environment & climate change, addictions & mental health, African NS affairs, L’nu affairs, women, youth, equity & anti-racism, culture tourism & heritage, education & advanced ed if they don’t consider those things to be β€œcore services”?

Your reminder that Joss Whedon wasn’t allowed to be alone with 14 year old Michelle Trachtenberg.

Just if you’re getting excited about his career re-launch and don’t care about his revolting behaviour toward Charisma Carpenter.

Houston and the PCs knew that if they actually offered Nova Scotians the choice between tax cuts and program cuts, it would have been a real debate with an uncertain outcome. They chose to win an election on the former and now, supermajority in hand, get to reshape public services on the latter.

WAR CRIME BY THE US.

An unarmed Iranian ship was takIng part in an Indian naval exercise, alongside the US.

The US withdrew and torpedoed the Iranian ship.

THEN the US refused to rescue the sailors, letting them drown.

This is treachery, cowardice, cruelty and a war crime of the highest order.

Screen shot of a Bluesky quote repost. Original post says β€œI was just watching some of the Bill and Hillary deposition footage and it’s really striking/disturbing how much the Clintons clearly come off younger and in better shape than ever of our two recent presidents. Quote repost says β€œwhen we talk about baby boomers not getting off the stage:
In 1997, the U.S. president was born in 1946.
In 2007, the U.S. president was born in 1946.
In 2017, the U.S. president was born in 1946.
And next year in 2027? The U.S. president will have been born in 1946.

Worst budget deficit in the country. Highest poverty rate in the country. Credit rating decreased for the first time in modern history. No-bid contracts too numerous to count. Yet you go into the comments & it's the usual bunch of morons blaming the Federal Government.

The War in Iran is costing taxpayers nearly $1 billion a day.

While Trump funds another illegal war, Republicans in Congress are cutting healthcare and food assistance.Β

Invest in the American people, not more endless wars.

Premier Tim Houston calls yesterday's protest by Nova Scotia's arts community a "Raise your taxes" rally "organized by the NDP". From the man who says he listens. Doesn't seem to have heard much yesterday.

Every election it's like we forget what Conservatives do. They cut taxes to the rich, and cut funding to services and programs the rich don't use. Every damn time. It's literally why the Conservative party exists.
We're like Charlie Brown thinking Lucy's not going to pull the ball out *this* time.

Don't attack the arts in Mi'kma'ki-Acadie-Nova Scotia unless you want a beautiful, heartwarming kitchen party protest that will make your regime look like a fairytale villain.

Protest sign reading: Bridge tolls reduce funding by $36 million per year. How's that working out for you Mr. Houston?

Protest sign reading: Bridge tolls reduce funding by $36 million per year. How's that working out for you Mr. Houston?

"Bring back the HST! Don't cut our community!" (& while you're at it, reinstate the bridge tolls).

When the person leading the protest chants asked: "did you ask for the HST cut?" the resounding response from the crowd was: "NO!"
