they may well do, but nice to see them struggling right now
they may well do, but nice to see them struggling right now
what happened?
I sort of agree with you, but I prefer Timber quite a lot even. Because Timber is 1) a better defender, 2) more involved centrally, 3) good to pop up with goals. I do think White is a better attacker though
Hincapie is just a solid traditional LB, and this team doesn't need or want that.
Martinelli has always done this
Also can we please end the Hincapie at LB thing? Calafiori (or even MLS) help us in possession so much.
For some reason, Arsenal fans have decided Hincapie is great, but I don't see it. We play relatively poorly when he starts.
Will say - Saka is just getting worse. I think we need to hold him out on the weekend. Let Madueke get a start.
OK here is the thing.
I was worried when I saw that lineup, because it was the same lineup we saw against Brighton and we played poorly.
UNTIL we brought on Calafiori, Trossard, and Havertz. In this game, Trossard was out with a knock and Cala didn't come on.
So I'm not shock by the perf.
Havertz has played well when he has played. Rice too generally. Odegaard is injured.
As for Saka and Zubi, man I don't know
that was coming. Awful perfomance so far.
yeah the peformance is ok. But the team out there lacks certain technical quality.
I just think he isn't the player Arsenal fans think he is. He can and has played better than he is tonight, but he is not a world-class, talismanic player.
HIncapie is being so overrated by Arsenal fans. He really limits us going forward. He's is a solid fullback, but thats not really what we need from tye position most of the time.
Saka just has been so poor too.
This lineup always risked having too little technical quality. Saka is also playing poorly (again).
Not sure its the correct lineup. Was worried when I saw Gyokeres and Martinelli and HIncapie instead of Cala.
I think to some degree it comes to down to what you expect from him.
I'm sorry, but Saka just isn't playing well enough.
I know his underlying stats are good but he wastes so many dangerous moments.
Zubimendi as well. Just not influential.
In general Martinelli and Gyokeres have not been effective when they have played togehter.
I also am resistant to Hincapie at LB. We lose quite a lot when we don't have Califiori when we are in possesion.
Frankly this is a poor performance.
I was worried this was not the correct side to pick. Too few passers/players comfortable in tight spaces imo.
This is a bad policy that would help incumbents retain their seats in the upcoming midterms.
Why Democrats want do that when out of power in the White House, the Senate, and the House is another question.
Republicans control everything and every bad thing is their fault. Say it until November 3.
it's been painfully clear since at least January 2025 that we are exiting one era and entering another -- but there was, in my view at least, a possibility that, were say Democrats to win commanding majorities come November, Trump neutered or removed, and a Democrat to take the WH in 2028 --

"Jews don't belong in American society."
Imagine a sitting member of Congress tweeting that. You can't. Thankfully, it'd never happen. And *if* it did, it'd be the end of their career and the biggest story in America.
But Ogles can say this about Muslims without any censure.
It's becoming increasingly obvious why no US president prior to Trump II ever gave Netanyahu the big war with Iran he's been demanding since 2002.
I also think that people are underrating the damage this is going to do to US-Israeli relationships. Beyond the shifting voter sentiments, it's becoming increasingly apparent that the executive ignored US intelligence assessments in favor of the bullshit Graham was brought back from the Israelis.
boy in retrospect, really shouldnโt have elected the worst person in the entire country president. that, it appears, was less than wise
So basically
Well, this aged exactly how I was afraid it would
Anthropic just published the most important study on AI and jobs yet.
The researchers call it a "Great Recession for white-collar workers."
It maps out EXACTLY which jobs AI is actively performing right now vs. which ones it COULD perform.
This is no different from Putin saying MH17 was shot down by Ukraine or Assad saying rebels gassed themselves.
Hannan again demonstrating the broader point that the UK right has completely lost touch with where the bulk of opinion in the UK lies on the Middle East - both with this and Israel/Gaza.
