Context: i’ve got a game tonight with Jen & Doni & Bobbie-Christine. I failed to crack the deck box, and to scrutinize the list. I was hoping to test it with my next rep, but I trusted that I had the work done.

So, i’ve been stressing about a tiny detail all day. I thought that I had put Umezawa’s Jitte in my Kamiz infect deck. I looked at it before work and saw it was not on the list.

The deck doesn’t need it, but my copy was sitting right there with the deck, completely uncontemplated.

Maybe next time.

Benevolent Bodyguard does the same thing as Selfless Savior, but as a Cleric! Orah would be nice, but Lurrus says no.

Here's what I'm going to run. Lurrus will recur any permanent spell that can be cast, not just the creatures. I plan to fill my hand and graveyard fast with lifetotal gains/tricks.

It blew my mind when it got like this. There may be some groupings that can be done to bring this number down. New formats are being invented all the time, and I have a custom feed and starter pack I use to find them. I also rediscover old ones on my audience-interactive live research show!

I'm working on the list now, but overall, I think clerics are just fine with the restriction. There's a lot of low-cost recursion that brings huge value. I'll post here when I'm done.

The overarching theme is typal magic, and I'm fielding Ayli and Lurrus with clerics!

Lurrus is a huge restriction, but the value engine is easy to set-up with his ability in play.
