Nice detail on the painted on speed limit just in front of a coffee shop with a narrow sidewalk in a lane in Melbourne CBD.

β€œThe debate over the capital gains tax discount comes down to a very simple question: who do you think should pay more income tax?” writes Matt Grudnoff, Senior Economist at The Australia Institute.

Can I point out that the current rail tracks between Melbourne and Sydney have potholes limiting the speed to 30km/h in certain parts. It is a big leap to build high-speed rail. Maybe we should start by having electrified medium-speed rail (120-180km/h) connecting regional centres without potholes?

The IKEA in Springvale has this tucked away bike rack while it also has plenty more space on the same level.

That e-bike you bought your teen might be an illegal electric motorbike – and the risks are real From serious injuries to thrill-seeking rideouts, teens on overpowered e-bikes have provoked a media frenzy. But the risks of these vehicles is very real.

Good take on the on illegal e-motorbike issue in Australia. I agree theconversation.com/that-e-bike-...

Yes, the rain radar is the most important app on my phone to make cycling decisions. It is amazing how much rain you can dodge with the right information.

Agree, used it yesterday, too. I did run the rope through the frame between seat stays and seat tube. Even if I had a rear rack I am not sure I would trust it to hang the bike from. The double strap looks nice and stable, though.

Hate is a strong word in this context. It is more that people realise that it is difficult, uncertain and you know that you are not welcome. The are more inviting alternatives.

Annex businesses tell Ford to back off Bloor bike lanes Stores in the Annex say the Bloor bike lanes have been a big boost to business. As Michelle Mackey reports, the neighborhood's BIA wants the province to back off its new bill that could see the lanes ...

WATCH: Seriously, if you’re following ANY bike-lane debate, you HAVE TO WATCH this news story. You actually can’t make this up. Ford claims without evidence that bike-lanes are bad for small business, and THE ACTUAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION obliterates him with data.

Safe bike-lanes mean business.

Looks good. Pedals or not, it should be categorised as a motorbike, require registration and insurance and should not be allowed on bicycle infrastructure.
I test rode an electric motorbike without pedals once. They are a nice ride but I would not switch from my cargo e-bike.
