Looking out the window, I am thinking again that water on glass is my favorite #jewelry.
"I love the rain," you say, your breath the angel gray of a found feather, of a new day, of shower steam.
I am thinking again that I would let you kiss all the places where an enemy would put a blade.

You're the best, Dr. Kimi. π
It's so hard! π
It is! π₯° How are you?

The Guardian on our new study, which shows that global heating is significantly gathering speed. Our efforts to overcome our fossil fuel addiction should do the same.

A brilliant sunset with light rays beaming gloriously off in all directions from the center of the frame, silhouettes of the pines on the horizon which seem to stop the light from fanning out any further beyond its current arc. There is a bright streak across the sky where the clouds are catching the light, and a hawk or a falcon was captured in the frame seemingly following the streak like a path or a trail.

Anyway, I hope you take a few minutes to thumb through the archives of the world's oldest scientific journal. Here is their "Science in the Making" page with stories and digital artifacts from over 360 years of scientific discovery. (12/n)

Sorry I'm not more open-minded about LLMs, it's just some fucking maniacs shoveled out a bunch of useless bloatware featuring that technology, did not give me any chance to opt out, reorganized the entire economy around it, zeroed out gains made by green energy, and made it impossible to buy RAM

Welp, once again it is #BandcampFriday where artists get to keep 100% of the proceeds from their sales!
Iβll be plugging other folksβ music today but Iβll start with βThe Fisher Kingβ. Released in January, itβs my electro-orchestral vision of hope.

A butterfly resting on a narrow green leaf. The butterfly is seen in profile with its wings folded up. The fore underwing has some bright green scales but is mostly orange. The hind underwing is dominated by bright green scales. Both underwings have white bands that parallel the curving back wing edges. The bands are edged with black, orange, and in this light blue. The body is gray. The legs and antennae are finely striped black and white, with orange at the tips of the antennae.

Hiya Sandra! π₯°
You are #magnanimous in the face of my fluttering, voice cupping my name like a rare butterfly. I bet many tongues have laced yours with love - or tied it like a cherry stem between wet teeth - yet the way you watch my mouth when I taste it... Later, alone, having flown, I taste it again.

mists outpace spring rains
new buds tease their way
into existence, promising
bountiful blooms to come
fragrant with possibilities
I, too, do not wish to wait
Hope, I breathe in

On the way to the garden, the ground is all give - a people pleaser, a pillow's promise, a lover's sigh. Every step suggests embrace, promises Ida could be a part of the #bountiful spring. "If I feed the weeds, who will pull them?" she grumbles as she prises a wellie from the lusty mud.

Itβs World Book Day? Why not take a trip back in time! TIME TRAVEL IS EASY is my full-length poetry collection, examining Deep Time, queer embodiment, and the trauma of life in the late Anthropocene. Itβs available through the links on my page: mimulus.weebly.com/books.html
Before I delete it, obviously. Trying to work on that, too.
And we love your pics. π₯Ή And you are hot. π«¦
I have a used-car-gets-me-where-I'm-going relationship with my body, so I've never taken pics like this, but I was telling it what a good body it is this morning and I guess this was my underline.

Image of 9 books covers for books by Helen Whistberry: Roadkill, shows a highway with animal skeletons on it; The Final Voyage of Avery Mothmere, has a black cat playing with an old-fashioned sailing ship; When Your Heart is a Broken Thing, has a white rabbit crying red tears and a red rabbit with skeleton exposed crying blue tears; Once Upon a Wave of Witches, with co-author Eli Belt, has a green kraken tentacle sweeping through turbulent blue waves; The Tail of Nightshade, has a gray mouse among purple nightshade blooms; The Melody of Trees, has a red fox among twining tree branches; The Weird Sisters, has a full moon behind tombstones with a hand visible lying on the ground; The Avenging Angel, has a full moon behind a mansion; The Ghostly Groom, has a full moon behind a tombstone with a black bird on top of it.
World Book Day? I have books, though I don't talk about them as much as I should which means nobody buys them, but if you're into classic mysteries or dark fantasy or hopeful horror or fractured folk tales and enjoy illustrated books, I got 'em!
